I am Dr. Amir Abbas Besharti. In addition to being accepted into a private medical university with a single-digit ranking (3rd), I was also admitted to the prestigious Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran with a top ranking. I completed my pediatric specialty at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and was among the top scorers in the national pediatric board exam.
I completed my mandatory rural service in Natanz for one year. Given my strong academic record, I was appointed as the head of the national neonatal resuscitation committee for the remaining two years of my service.
Thanks to my proficiency in French, I pursued my first fellowship in asthma and food allergies in Paris. Subsequently, I completed a second fellowship in pediatric pulmonary diseases with a focus on performing awake bronchoscopy on children, held in their mothers' arms, on an outpatient basis in Strasbourg, France.
I then immigrated to Quebec and completed the following programs:
Medical ethics in children at the University of Montreal
Master of Biomedical Sciences with a focus on sexually transmitted infections
Residency in family medicine at McGill University with a focus on screening..."
